beautiful hump day

 Today has been such a lovely day outside, it's fresh and over cast. I love days like these! It reminds of California weather. I miss lots of things from back home and one of them is the weather. I remember when I would complain to my husband (then bf) about how I hated where we lived but moving out of California you realize you had the perfect weather and lord knows I took it for granted. Although the weather since I moved here hasn't been all that bad just always windy. 

Lately I've been doing all my crafts and school work downstairs in our living room and today I decided I'd actually use our desk that we have in our spare room. Usually this room is warm and it doesn't have a fan so I didn't like spending time in it but since today is such a nice day I opened the window and it feels great in here. It feels good using the desk, using a hard surface instead of the floor or my notebook lol. The first couple weeks that I moved here my hubby bought me the desk, so of course I love it and now that it's cool I can use it :). I should buy a fan for this room, just haven't gotten around to it :).

Here are some crafts that I've made the past several weeks. A couple weeks ago I made a wooden letter V for my sister and thought I'd share it :) 


These flowers are way cute in person! I'm going to attach one to a bobby pin and put it in my hair and the other I'm thinking of using it for a scrapbook page :). Very versatile :)

A lot has happened since I last wrote on here. I'm not really sure where to start, I guess I'll start out with little things (sorry for the randomness) My hubby turned 23 and I turned 25, we didn't do much for our birthdays just dinner and spent time together. A lot has been on my mind! My hubby got moved to a new unit last week and while getting moved to the new unit he was informed that he'll be deploying soon. It took me off guard because his last unit deployed but wasn't chosen to go with them. So, I guess I had let my guard down when it came to him being deployed because I knew he wouldn't be. National Pie Day

Interesting fact of the Day: today is National Pie Day so go out and have some pie :) I had another good week. During the week I was busy with school work. This semester is keeping me busy and I haven't even started the papers that go with each class. I'm sure when I start working on those I'm going to be even more busy, which of course I don't mind :) This weekend was good I spent it with my husband and doggy. Saturday was kind of boring we just hung out at home. In the evening a lady doing a health survey for the state of Oklahoma came over and had me do a survey. I didn't mind doing it for free but I got paid 30 bucks for doing it! After then I ordered pizza and we ended the night watching a movie. On Sunday I went grocery shopping nothing big just the little stuff to keep us full till next payday. Then came home and we watched football. I was so nervous watching the first game since it was my patriots! They played good but not great but it was a win and that...

country music

Lately for some reason when I listen to certain country songs I get really sad about my boyfriend leaving. I know it's not for another 3 months but for some reason everything hits me and I start to get really sad (I even cry some times). I don't tell anyone of course that I'm sad because I can't. I can't tell my bf that I don't want him to leave because that wouldn't be right of me to do that to him. He's the one making the big sacrifice not me. I'm not going to a new place. So I guess i'll just keep away from country music for awhile or I'll just build myself up by becoming tolerable to the music, so it doesn't affect me.
