The insides of Vanessas mind!

Sometimes I can't wait till I move because I'll be with my bestfriend/lover. I feel like all the friends I have/use to have I'm not as close to them as I use to be. Even some of the dearest of friends. It's like they have their new lives outside of high school (new friends, new relationships, dealing with finishing school, etc.) and we've just lost touch. I know that's how life is that's how we grow we loose some people in our lives to make room for the new and sometimes those friends we had before might even make it back into our life. So I'll just go with the flow and meet new ones especially since I'll be moving to a new state, hopefully military wives are nice. I've heard some stories that they can be mean to the new girls lol. I guess we'll see :)

This past weekend was AMAZING! My babe was able to come home for Easter. I loved having him here! I miss seeing him every day. He left today and I miss him already! He's coming home in July. So it's not too far away. The reason he's coming home is because we're getting married :). I have so much to do in so little time. We just officially got engaged this weekend btw :). I was already planning stuff but know it's game time and I have to really work on the wedding especially if I want it to be as wonderful as I've always dreamed it would be. This weekend I'm going with my mom, my sister, his mom, his sister and his aunt to go look for my dress. I have a dress in mind that I like but I want to try on a couple to find my dream dress. So his mom has been really into looking for stuff for the wedding, which is nice, no complaints here. His family has always been so supportive, I love it! My family is just as supportive! I'm truly blessed, I thank God ever

Day 29 – post a picture of the coolest place you ever got to go to b/c of your s/o being in the military Well I haven't been any where cool because of him being in the military. I've only been to Ft. Sill, OK and to be honest that wasn't the coolest place to be. It was nice only because I got to see my love and any where he is the coolest place lol :) Day 30 - post a pic of your favorite military SO support group and tell how it has helped you. I like this support group. It's on facebook :)

I love my ring! It's so beautiful! I love it not only because it's more than I could imagine but mostly I love it because the guy of my dreams asked me to marry him! :)  Can you tell I'm excited?!?!! lol :)  The engagement ring! :)

Day 28 – post a picture of the band that sings the song of your significant other’s ring tone while they are away..(usually a military themed song like "wait for me") hm so my phone is always on vibrate only because I don't seem to remember to turn it to vibrate when I go some where so I just leave it on that lol. But before it use to be "lost in this moment" by big and rich (which is our song) :)

Lately I've been feeling a bit overwhelmed. Tyler comes this Friday! I'm so excited but also kind of nervous! I'm not sure if that makes sense. I'm excited to see him because I haven't seen him in almost 2 months but I'm also nervous because we haven't seen each other in awhile so it might be weird between us. I don't know why I always get like this. Last time we hadn't seen each other in awhile and of course I got nervous but when we saw each other it was like we were never apart :). So anyways on to the overwhelmed feelings. I've been stressing about how fast we're getting married and having to get everything planned without him here to bounce ideas off is kind of hard. But I've got to admit he has been pretty helpful. We're pretty sure on where we want it all we're waiting on his unit and when he'll be able to get time off. His unit isn't in the same state that he is in right now because they left to a training 3 days

Day 25- Favorite moment or experience you have had with the military I guess it would have to be his bootcamp graduation. He hasn't been in the army for very long so we don't have very many experiences. I would say it's his bootcamp graduation because I was SO very blessed to be able to see him graduate! I am so proud of him! :) Day 26 - post a picture of your mans military branch and tell your favorite stay strong quote "Miles mean nothing when you are in love, and love means everything when you are miles apart..." -Samantha Day 27 - post a picture of something that reminds you of your SO and tell why it does. This reminds me of Tyler because before he left. A lot of what we would do is watch sports games, espn news, espn 360, etc. I remember reading books while he would be watching a game or a show. I use to love just spending time like that we weren't doing anything but watching TV together but now that I look back on it I miss those time!

I haven't been keeping up with this so here are a couple days I've missed. I'm trying to get better with the whole blogging thing i just get so distracted with FB and other stuff going on :). Day 22 – post a picture of what keeps you strong when your military SO is away This is dress up night on the cruise we went on a couple years ago. It reminds me of all the FUN times we had during the cruise; laying around, cuddling, having adventures both on the boat and in Catalina and Mexico. Day 23 - Post a picture and tell what your life would be like without your SO. Depressed: he makes me happy and always knows what to say when things aren't going right. He's like my guardian angel always there for me!  A mess because my mind would be a mess. I remember before I met him. My life was a mess. Day 24 – A picture of your SOs favorite sports team He has a baseball team but I refuse to put them on my page! lol

Day 21 - post a picture of a movie or show you watch when your SO is away that you usually don’t watch when he is home and tell why you don’t watch it when he is home. I just got into this show after he left to bootcamp. So I've been watching it since he's been gone. He hasn't been home in awhile, so I'm not sure if he'd like it or not lol

Day 20 - post a pic of you in something military (shirt, camo,etc)

Day 19 - Post a picture of his favorite show and tell of one episode you watched with him We started watching this show when it first started coming out and haven't missed an episode. We were just talking about it last night, he asked when does Son's start again? lol he misses it! It's pretty violent if  you aren't into violent shows you probably wont like it.

Day 17 - post a picture of something your SO left you while he was away and how that helped you… did/do you carry it with you or sleep with it? I have a couple of his clothes. I sleep with one of the shirts and the other one I wear sometimes. I SOOO miss him! On another note ... I love how our congressmen and women and our president are getting their full pay checks and our soldiers are getting half their pay checks. I understand the whole saving money and what not but why can't they do the same thing? hmmm

Since I didn't have time to post yesterday I decided to post two days today :) Day 15 - post a picture of your SO during your proudest moment of him When get graduated bootcamp :)) Day 16 – post a picture of your favorite piece of jewelry that your man has gotten you and why it is your favorite! Well it would have to be my engagement  ring but it's getting sized right now so I'll have to post a picture later :). It's my favorite not only because he gave it to me but because he wants to spend the rest of his life with me (as do I) :))

Day 14 – post a picture of what consumes most of your time when your s/o is away  My family consumes my time and work. Keeping busy helps me get through being without him!

Day 13 – post a picture of your favorite military support accessory and tell where you got it from. I got these from my babe when he was in Basic. He sent them along with a really sweet card :)

Day 12 – post a picture of a book you are reading/have read b/c of your s/o being in the military and tell how it has helped you. I am always reading a book but the book that has helped the most since Tyler has joined is a book his aunt gave me called "The one year mini for Women". It's a daily inspirational book.

Here in the town I live in we have an event called Big Hat days which is usually the first weekend in April the weekend before the rodeo. Today my sister and her friend decided to go. It was pretty cool except for it being hot and there being SO many people that it made it so much more hotter lol. So we left and decided to go to the grand opening of the new Forever 21 but before going there we decided to get starbucks tea. It was a really long wait for some reason (thought it was weird but I didn't mind) anyways I was going to pay and the guy tells me oh no their on the house because it took SO long. I was very much appreciative of my drink :). So then we went to Forever 21. The store is huge before we had a one story small store, now the store is 3 stories and there is big selection of clothes it's amazing :). After that my sister and I went home and decided to take my parents to Chipotle. That was yummy I must say! So I'd consider today to be a very good day :).

Day 11 - post a picture of the stationary you pour your heart out onto in letters to your s/o Not too long ago I was writing letter very day to him since he was in basic training. This is the notebook that I would write in.

oops so I totally wrote day 10 before day 9 so here is day 9 :)   Day 9 – post a picture of your favorite thing that you or your SO has made and tell what it is. Since we've been together we have always carved pumpkins so here are a couple of our pumpkins that we carved together. They're my favorite thing that we have made together because it's becoming a tradition that I want to continue to have when we have kids :).
